Explore Science at The Pearl
The Pearl is excited to invite homeschool students to participate in our hands-on STEM Lab experiences. These interactive sessions give students the opportunity to explore real-world science concepts through engaging activities and collaborative problem solving.
Each session is a standalone experience designed to introduce students to the kind of innovative work happening at The Pearl. Students will participate in a guided case study exploring how science and technology can help people recover from neurological injuries and improve rehabilitation outcomes.
At this time, students are asked to attend only one session.
What Students Will Do
During each STEM Lab session, students will:
- Explore a neurology and rehabilitation case study.
- Participate in hands-on experiments and activities.
- Work collaboratively to solve real-world problems.
- Learn how science, engineering and medicine intersect.
These labs are designed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and give students a glimpse into the kinds of challenges scientists and engineers work on every day.
What Parents Should Know
- A snack will be provided during the session.
- Lunch is not provided.
- Transportation is not provided; parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up.
- A parent/guardian permission form will be sent after registration and must be completed before the session.

- Dates: Wednesdays and Thursdays in May
- Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- Location: The Pearl STEM Lab
- Capacity: 10 students per session
- Minimum Enrollment: 5 students
Grade Levels
To ensure an age-appropriate experience:
- Wednesdays: Current 3rd–5th grade
- Thursdays: Current 6th–8th grade
